Examples of natural disasters include earthquakes, floods, and fires. These events, as well as environmental phenomena such as extreme heat or cold, may adversely affect the operation of IT infrastructure and hardware systems that support AI systems. Natural disasters may lead to unavailability or destruction of the IT infrastructures and hardware that enables the operation, deployment and maintenance of AI systems.
